Sales Contract

A pet PUPPY
is defined here to be a German Shepherd puppy which is in good health at time of
sale and embodies the characteristics of the German Shepherd breed.
This PUPPY
is purebred and is registerable with the American Kennel Club.
This PUPPY
is to be registered with a LIMITED
Registration,
which will prohibit breeding and registering of any offspring.
(The BUYER
agrees that female PUPPY is to be spayed at the appropriate age, and
Veterinarian confirmation of this procedure must be supplied to the BREEDER).
The BREEDER
guarantees the above described dog to be healthy at the time of the sale.
The BREEDER
does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy after leaving the
premises of said BREEDER.
The BUYER
agrees to have this puppy examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within 72
hours upon delivery of puppy.
If the puppy is found to be other than healthy by the BUYER’S
Veterinarian, it shall be returned to the BREEDER
immediately, and the purchase price will be refunded.
Deadline for this refund is 72 hours,
after the delivery of puppy.
The BUYER
agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy including, but not
limited to: Inoculations, internal
as well as external parasites, heartworm preventative medications.
The BUYER
also agrees to maintain preventative care of the puppy in regards to hip
dysplasia: such as proper nutrition,
proper exercise and preventing stress injuries (i.e. Not allowing the puppy to
jump from any heights that are taller than itself at the shoulder, no forced
exercise – such as excessive running until at least 8 months of age).
The BREEDER
will give a two (2) year guarantee on hips of said puppy – against
crippling hip dysplasia. Should
the puppy be diagnosed with crippling hip dysplasia, a written notice from a licensed
veterinarian stating the condition of puppy must be provided.
PUPPY
must then be returned to BREEDER
and PUPPY
will be replaced with puppy of equal
value when available.
The BUYER
agrees to provide a suitable fenced area for this puppy.
This Contract with all signatures of both the Buyers and Sellers (sellers
meaning breeders) constitutes a full and binding agreement between all parties.
